About Cassandra

In 1998, Cassandra’s chiropractic journey began after her daughter’s referral to a chiropractor, which lead to her working at the Rotorua practice as bookkeeper. She eventually pursued chiropractic studies and graduated from the NZCC in 2013. Cassandra has been in private practice in Auckland since. She has served on the NZCA council since 2016, passionately promoting chiropractic principles. She mentored interns and briefly lectured at the NZCC from 2018-2021. In 2022, Cassandra became the first female president of the NZCA in their 100 year history. Committed to making chiropractic care accessible for all, she continues to advocate its benefits on health and wellbeing. Cassandra proudly celebrated her daughter’s graduation as a chiropractor in 2023.

About Chris

A graduate of the College, Chris has been part of the NZCC teaching team since 2017 and was appointed HOD Philosophy in 2021. He combines his experience in practice over the past decade with his deep understanding of the philosophical principles that chiropractic was founded upon to inspire students on their journey towards becoming the world’s best chiropractors.

The presentation emphasises the importance of resilience and finding ways to make a real impact while growing in the chiropractic profession.

About Dorte

Dorte has a 35-year career in chiropractic care for children. She runs a busy family practice in Newcastle, Australia. Dorte has a Master’s degree in Chiropractic Paediatrics as well as several Certificates in Paediatrics.
‘Switched-on Kids’ is Dorte’s international education program in chiropractic care for kids. She frequently presents at conferences and chiropractic colleges around the world. Her book ‘Switched-on Kids – The natural way for children to be their best’ was published in 2016. Dorte launched her fundraiser ‘The Kids’ Summit’ in 2015. It has raised over $300.000 and funded several important research projects into chiropractic care for children.
