About Our Research
Our research investigates the impact of chiropractic care on the expression of health and human potential and focuses on neurophysiological function, chiropractic care for children, human performance and quality of life.

Leading chiropractic research

Research undertaken at the Centre for Chiropractic Research has demonstrated how chiropractic care improves central nervous system function. It also has shown that adjusting vertebral subluxations improves muscle strength, joint position sense and reaction times, reduces muscle fatigue and improves quality of life.

Our research is recognised internationally, is award-winning, and constantly strives to bring chiropractic to the forefront of health and wellbeing.

How evidence-informed research advances the chiropractic profession:

  • Research provides a focus that allows chiropractic to be publicised in the media which enhances the reputation of chiropractic in the eyes of the public.
  • Research enables educators, students and chiropractors to confidently communicate the benefits of chiropractic to their patients and communities.
  • Research highlights the unique contribution that chiropractic offers to everyone.
