Our student interns regularly present health talks to businesses, sports clubs, schools, and community organisations across Auckland.
Health talks are a chance for our chiropractic student interns to connect with local groups and share practical, evidence-informed knowledge on spinal health, movement, and everyday wellbeing – and for your people to discover what chiropractic care could offer them at our on-campus Chiropractic Centre.
Each talk is tailored to your audience and goals – whether that’s helping an office team move and sit better, supporting a sports club with injury prevention, or giving a community group practical tools for everyday wellbeing.
Popular subjects include:
- Spinal health and posture for the workplace
- Managing stress and its effects on the body
- Ergonomics for desk-based and physical jobs
- Injury prevention and performance for sports teams
- Healthy movement and ageing well
- Chiropractic care explained – what it is and how it works
- Building resilience: nervous system health and everyday function
Why host a health talk
- Tailored content – shaped around your audience, whether that’s desk-based staff, tradespeople, athletes, or seniors
- Engaging and practical – expect real takeaways your people can use that day, not just theory
- Q&A included – time built in for your team to ask questions specific to their own health goals
- Delivered by capable, experienced presenters – our interns are in the final years of their five-year Bachelor of Chiropractic and bring substantial hands-on experience to every talk
- No cost to host
What to expect
- Talks typically run 20–45 minutes, plus time for questions
- Suitable for groups of most sizes – from small teams to large staff meetings
- Can be delivered at your workplace, clubrooms, or on request at our Mt Wellington campus
- Presented independently by our senior chiropractic student interns
How it works
- Fill in the form below with a bit about your group and what you’re after
- Our team will be in touch to confirm topic, timing, and format
- We’ll match you with a student intern and confirm the details
- Sit back and enjoy the talk!
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks ahead to give our student presenters time to prepare a talk suited to your group.
If your group would like to find out more about chiropractic care afterwards, our Chiropractic Centre is open to the public.
