The C.A Impact Series: Professional Development Programme has been created to support the people at the heart of the patient experience, helping C.As grow their confidence, communication, leadership, and impact within practice.
Delivered live by experienced Chiropractic Assistants and industry leaders, this six-part programme is designed around the real work you do every day in practice.
Whether you’re new to the role or have years of experience, this programme will give you practical tools, meaningful connection, and a deeper understanding of the impact you have in shaping patient care and practice culture.

Tamara Ramsay
Tamara Ramsay has over 15 years of experience as a Chiropractic Assistant, playing a key role in patient experience and practice culture as the “Director of Wow.” Now co-owner of a family-focused chiropractic practice in Pukekohe, she is passionate about the important role Chiropractic Assistants play in shaping patient journeys and contributing to both practice success and community wellbeing.
Jayme Hall
Co-owner of Burnaby Chiropractic, Jayme brings extensive experience in patient care and community leadership to his role as a Chiropractic Assistant. Passionate about patient experience and practice culture, he focuses on building strong relationships, fostering connection, and supporting teams to create welcoming, people-centred environments through authentic communication and meaningful touchpoints.
Shayna Innes
Shayna brings a strong healthcare background to her role as a Chiropractic Assistant, with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry across diverse settings. Now part of the team at Proactive Chiropractic Care, she is passionate about supporting patient experiences and mentoring others in the profession. Drawing from her own journey as a chiropractic patient, Shayna is committed to helping individuals grow and thrive, both within the practice and the wider community.

Vikki brings over 30 years of experience with a background spanning practice, CA training, and work with the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Heidi Haavik
Heidi is Vice President and Dean of Research at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, founder of Haavik Research, and author of the bestselling book The Reality Check. A chiropractor with a PhD in human neurophysiology, Heidi is one of the world’s most sought-after chiropractic speakers. She translates complex science into practical tools that help chiropractors grow their practices and educate patients about the power of chiropractic care.

Who is this programme for?
This programme is designed for Chiropractic Assistants, Practice Managers, and front-of-house team members working within chiropractic practices looking to build on their professional skills, whether you’re brand new to the role or have years of experience.
Do I need previous chiropractic training or qualifications?
No prior qualifications are required. The programme is designed to support practical learning and confidence-building within the C.A role.
How are the workshops delivered?
All modules are delivered live online through AXIS (the NZCC engagement platform), making it easy to join from anywhere in the world.
What time are the workshops?
The workshops run the last Tuesday of each month for 6 months, starting on 30 June 2026
What if I can’t attend a live session?
All workshops are recorded, so you’ll still be able to access the content in your own time.
How long is the programme?
The programme runs across six monthly modules from June to November 2026.
Will I receive resources or tools to use in practice?
Yes. Each session includes practical tools, strategies, and resources designed to be applied immediately within your practice environment.
Can multiple team members from the same practice join?
Yes. Practices that access the programme through eligible NZCC Membership Programme tiers can include multiple Chiropractic Assistants from their team from as little as $50 NZD per month.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to join the NZCC Membership Programme, there is the option to join at a one-off cost of $199+gst NZD per person for the C.A Impact Series programme.
What’s included in the NZCC Membership Programme option?
Eligible membership tiers include access to the C.A Professional Development Programme along with additional NZCC membership benefits, resources, and opportunities to stay connected through AXIS.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to join the NZCC Membership Programme, there is the option to join at a one-off cost of $199+gst NZD per person for the C.A Impact Series programme.
Is there a certificate at the end of the programme?
Participants will receive recognition of completion for the programme. This also forms part of a broader NZCC CA development pathway, with formal C.A certification planned for 2027.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to join the NZCC Membership Programme, there is the option to join at a one-off cost of $199+gst NZD per person for the C.A Impact Series programme.
Is this programme only for New Zealand-based C.As?
No. AXIS is a global platform and Chiropractic Assistants from anywhere in the world are welcome to participate in the programme. We have facilitators from New Zealand and Canada running the modules.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to join the NZCC Membership Programme, there is the option to join at a one-off cost of $199+gst NZD per person for the C.A Impact Series programme.
Will there be opportunities to connect with other C.As?
Absolutely. One of the core goals of the programme is connection. Participants will be able to engage with other C.As and Practice Managers through AXIS and throughout the programme.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to join the NZCC Membership Programme, there is the option to join at a one-off cost of $199+gst NZD per person for the C.A Impact Series programme.
