Programme structure

The New Zealand College of Chiropractic's programme structure emphasises a vitalistic approach, integrating philosophy, science, and art to prepare students for professional chiropractic practice.

Our curriculum integrates foundational health sciences, chiropractic philosophy, and practical skills, culminating in professional practice and business management to prepare students for successful chiropractic careers.

An ever-evolving curriculum

Our curriculum is regularly revised to integrate the latest chiropractic research and technique developments. Lecturers combine the principles of chiropractic with these developments to teach a curriculum that delivers the world’s best chiropractic graduates.

Chiropractic abroad

In their final year, students have the opportunity as interns to travel to the Cook Islands to take part in a week-long Chiropractic Abroad programme providing chiropractic care to the community of Rarotonga.

This hands-on excursion forms part of the College’s wider community outreach and is a hugely rewarding opportunity that increases students’ confidence, ability and passion for chiropractic.
