Hi, I’m Dr Hazel, the principal chiropractor at Sunstone Chiropractic in Papatoetoe, Auckland. I hold a Bachelor of Chiropractic from NZCC and have been in private practice for the past two years. My practice is wellness and family-focused, with a special interest in women’s health. I adjust using Diversified, Gonstead, Activator and SOT, complemented by extremity work and muscle release.

I love educating people about their spine and nervous system so they can take ownership of their health. I believe care is a partnership — by combining chiropractic with lifestyle support, we help practice members achieve long-lasting results.

At Sunstone Chiropractic we see a wide variety of people, from busy professionals to young families. I’m comfortable running a high-volume practice with appointments generally 10–15 mins, while still building strong connections. I also handle marketing, screenings and talks to grow the practice and community awareness.

I value open communication and teamwork, creating a safe, friendly space for both patients and staff. Outside the clinic, I enjoy camping, walking, gym and time with my husband and our two little Shih Tzu’s.

I’m passionate about supporting students and new grads, offering hands-on mentorship in technique, patient education, and practice systems. If you’d like to observe or learn more about transitioning from uni to practice life, please feel free to reach out — I’d love to help!

My goal for attending the career fair is to connect with passionate final-year students and new graduates who are eager to grow their skills and build a fulfilling chiropractic career. I’d love to meet people who resonate with a family-focused, wellness-based approach to care and who are excited by the idea of working in a supportive environment with mentorship. I’m also hoping to share what life in practice is really like — both the clinical and business sides — and to give students insight into what it takes to build a thriving, balanced practice. Ultimately, I’d love to find someone who would be the right fit to join our team in the future or even just start with observations to see if our style aligns.
