Chiropractic radiology is a speciality within the chiropractic profession that concentrates its efforts in the area of imaging study interpretation.
The program of instruction is a three (3) calendar year, full-time in-house residency program which is specifically designed to prepare the resident to sit for the examination administered by the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (ACBR).
The residency program is rigorous and candidates are selected on a competitive basis for limited openings. Once selected the candidate becomes employed by the college and receive an annual salary. Applicants are chosen based upon performance of a written examination, oral view-box examinations, and an interview with the residency selection committee. New residents are typically accepted each October for a January starting position.
Applications for Diagnostic Imaging Residency
We are currently accepting applications for the diagnostic imaging residency programme, a three year full-time programme for qualified, registered Chiropractors that leads to eligibility to sit the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology exam. Passing the examination provides diplomate status (DACBR).
