  1. Candidate Overview
    ● Full Name: Mayyada Mahmoud
    ● Chiropractic Education & Graduation Year: 5th year NZCC student
    ● Techniques Proficient In or Interested in Learning: Proficient in Diversified,
Gonstead, Drop Assist, Toggle, and Activator. Interested in refining my manual adjusting
    skills further and learning SOT.
    ● Practice Philosophy & Approach to Patient Care: I am passionate about Vitalistic
family wellness, with a particular interest in pregnancy modifications, pediatric, and
geriatric care. I also have a strong interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals by
creating a calm environment where they feel safe and respected. I believe chiropractic
should be modified to each person’s comfort, needs and goals. My approach is centred
on meeting people where they are in their health journey and providing care that
    empowers them.
  2. Clinical Skills & Patient Care
    ● Experience with Patient Volume (if any): I’m currently seeing average 13 practice
members per week in the Chiropractic centre. While completing my externship at the
Coca-Cola site, I would see on average 7 practice members per shift. I’m eager to
increase my patient volume and gain more hands-on experience, as I’m confident that
greater exposure will continue to strengthen my clinical skills and confidence.
    ● Comfort Level with Adjusting Different Patient Types: I love providing care to all
ages and presentations. I adjust children and elderly practice members regularly.
    ● Approach to Patient Education & Engagement: I believe patient education is a crucial
part of care, so I would like to strengthen this further. I like to ensure that I take a
patient-centred approach to education to help them feel empowered in their body.
Practice members are more likely to commit to making positive health changes when
they understand the importance of chiropractic for their overall health!
  3. Professional Development & Career Growth
    ● Any Additional Certifications or Courses Undertaken: First Aid course (2024),
Gonstead Technique One-Day Event with Dr Susan Caruso, Pregnancy Adjusting
Seminar by Dr James Evans (2025).
  4. Team & Workplace Preferences
    ● Preferred Work Environment & Clinic Culture: I am highly open to continued learning
and would thrive with good mentorship and a supportive practice to join. This would
ideally include support with CPD and regular training. I would love to be part of a team
that encourages growth in both interpersonal and clinical skills. I believe being in an
environment that fosters collaboration and shared learning is important as I evolve as a
    chiropractor.
    ● Experience Working in a Team Setting (if any): Worked as a CA at Revolution
Chiropractic which helped me gain valuable experience and insight on how a
team-based chiropractic practice runs. Nannied for many families, including
neurodivergent children. I have experience in retail and enjoyed the fast-paced
team-building environment which I believe was very valuable in building my confidence
    and communication.
    ● Communication & Interpersonal Skills: I strive to be both approachable and
empathetic, which allows me to build trust with both practice members and colleagues.
Creating an environment where everyone feels heard, understood and supported is
central to how I connect and communicate with others. I value teamwork and
collaboration, and like to ensure I contribute to any team I’m part of!
  5. Personal & Lifestyle Considerations
    ● Preferred Location & Willingness to Relocate: Preferred locations are Western
Sydney, Australia or within the North Shore, Rodney, or Waitakere regions of Auckland,
    New Zealand.
    ● Work-Life Balance Expectations: I appreciate a schedule that supports both my
professional growth and personal well-being. I would love to start with more frequent
hours initially to build my experience and support the needs of the team! While I am
flexible and understand that additional hours may occasionally be needed, my future
long-term goal is to transition towards a 3 to 4 day workweek.
