My name is Kirstin, I am originally from Invercargill. I am proficient in Diversified, Drop Table, Activator, and Thompson techniques. I also have an interest in SOT.
I’ve gained valuable clinical experience through regular 1–7 pm shifts, managing both quiet and fully booked days. Beyond the College clinic, I’ve also expanded my skills through placements at the teen pregnancy unit, the Rarotonga outreach mission, and the Coca-Cola externship.
I hold a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science and have a strong background in high-performance sport. I represented New Zealand in Artistic Swimming at five World Championships and later served as head coach of the national team for the 2022 World Championships. Through this, as well as leading my local club and working with the Southland Coaching Academy, I’ve developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. These have translated well into my chiropractic training, especially in patient education and addressing common misconceptions about the profession.
I thrive in environments that support mentorship, ongoing development, and a strong work-life balance. I’m particularly interested in working in the South Island of New Zealand, with a preference for Invercargill, Queenstown, or Christchurch, though I’m open to opportunities nationwide.
Outside of chiropractic, I’m working toward a gold-level International World Aquatics Judging Certification, attending national and international events as I pursue my goal of judging Artistic Swimming at the Olympic Games.
