Hello! My name is Karina Foxley, and I’m a final-year chiropractic student at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, relocating to Brisbane after graduation. I’m a hands-on, people-focused chiropractor passionate about manual adjusting and wellness-based care. I’m confident using Diversified and have additional experience in Gonstead, Activator, Toggle, SOT, and extremity adjusting.

I’m seeking an associate position in a higher-volume clinic where manual care is the foundation. I thrive when I’m busy and hands-on, and I’m eager to expand my skills in a supportive environment that values mentorship and growth.

My clinical experience includes delivering care in fast-paced settings like the Coca-Cola externship, providing culturally sensitive care on a mission trip to Rarotonga, and supporting young mums and babies through the Teen Parent Unit placement. These opportunities shaped me into an adaptable and compassionate practitioner.

I communicate with warmth and clarity, helping practice members feel heard and empowered. I value teamwork, have strong organisational skills, and work well in structured and dynamic clinic environments.

Key experiences include:

  • Two years as a chiropractic intern
  • Outreach in Rarotonga and Teen Parent Unit
  • First aid certified
  • Presenting health talks and screenings
  • Ongoing mentorship and shadowing

I’m flexible with shifts and ideally seeking 20–30 hours per week to support both growth and work-life balance. Outside of practice, I enjoy calisthenics, the gym, and socialising with friends.

Unfortunately, I won’t be attending the Opportunities Expo in person, but I’d love to connect. Please reach out if I sound like a good fit for your team!

My goal for attending the career fair is to connect with like-minded chiropractors and practices that align with my values and vision for patient care. I’m looking to learn more about different clinic cultures, explore potential associate opportunities in Brisbane, and find a supportive environment where I can continue to grow both clinically and professionally. I’m also excited to network with experienced chiropractors, ask questions, and gain insights into what makes a great team dynamic and successful practice.
