Dr Chris Barham
Chris is a full-time practising chiropractor for 40 years, a trustee of NZCC for 19 years and is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Dr Louise Blair
With over 25 years of experience as a chiropractor and having mentored many young NZCC graduates, Louise is deeply committed to giving back to our profession. Through her role as a trustee, she is honoured to support the development of the next generation of chiropractors and to help shape the future of chiropractic. The New Zealand College of Chiropractic is recognised as a leading institution worldwide, and it is vital to not only preserve its legacy but also to continue to build upon it.

Andrea Hardy
Andrea is a seasoned human resources executive with a track record across diverse commercial sectors. Since 2018, she has also served in governance roles within the not-for-profit sector, bringing a heart for community and education into every role.
Joining the NZCC Board in 2025, Andrea offers deep expertise in strategy, human capital, change leadership, and sustainability. Her vision is one where people flourish, where psychological safety, authentic connection, and access to quality education are the foundation for individual and collective thriving.

Rick Johnston
With over 30 years of experience in accounting at the partner level, Rick has played a pivotal role in shaping trusted financial practices. His journey includes 12 years with the international firm Grant Thornton, followed by the co-founding of Johnston Associates in 2003. As a trustee and director for various clients, Rick serves as a strategic advisor, applying his deep understanding of business and governance.
A reflection of the Johnston Associates culture, Rick brings to the NZCC Board a strong sense of mentorship, corporate responsibility, and service to the greater good. His involvement with boards across health, education, sport, and culture speaks to his values-led approach. At NZCC, Rick offers astute financial leadership and business insight, aligned with the College’s vision of advancing humanity through chiropractic.

Dr Simon Kelly
Simon comes from a proud lineage of chiropractors and was part of the inaugural graduating class of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 1998. His career has been devoted to advancing the profession, serving in key roles such as President of the NZCC Alumni Association and Chair of the Hamblin Research Trust.
With over two decades in private practice in Mt Eden, Auckland, Simon leads a thriving family-focused, performance-based clinic. He is deeply committed to mentoring students and new graduates, ensuring they step into their purpose with confidence. His vision is globally empowering NZCC graduates to thrive anywhere in the world, while elevating the potential of the communities they serve and the chiropractic profession as a whole.

Dr Lydia McClean
A proud graduate of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and a trustee since 2021, Lydia has been a passionate advocate for chiropractic since receiving her very first adjustment. Her journey from inspired student to dedicated chiropractor embodies the College’s ethos of purpose-driven growth.
Lydia practises in West Auckland alongside a like-minded team, where she nurtures a love for human potential, family wellness, and the vitalistic philosophy. Her service on the Board reflects a commitment to the sustainable growth of the College and to advancing vitalistic chiropractic education on a global scale.

Greg Smith
Greg brings strategic insight and commercial acumen to the NZCC Board, shaped by his leadership roles as CEO of iconic brands such as Icebreaker and Bremworth. His presence supports the College’s forward-thinking investments and focus on long-term student success.
A lifelong recipient of chiropractic care, Greg shares a deeply personal connection to the profession. “Chiropractic care has been part of my life since birth and is the key to the wellbeing of my family of seven,” he says. His contribution reflects both professional strength and personal belief in the power of chiropractic.
