The Bachelor of Chiropractic (BChiro) is a five-year professional degree. Four years are completed at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and one prerequisite year of specific basic health science courses must be completed prior to starting at the College.
We accept applications all year around. If you still need to complete prerequisite courses, you will need to make yourself familiar with and adhere to the application dates of the tertiary education institute that you want to study your prerequisite courses.
Applicants are to complete and return an application form. It is highly recommended to apply to the College first before undertaking prerequisite courses.
The application process will include an essay, an interview, an online critical thinking assessment and completing an approved prerequisite study pathway. You will be guided through the process by the College’s Admissions Team.
If you have completed university study, include with your application all official university transcripts of relevant previous studies. We will academically assess your previous studies, determine if you have completed any or all prerequisite courses and recommend appropriate courses if necessary.
Please note that there is a non-refundable application fee of $250 payable at the time of application.
