Applying to study at the College

The Bachelor of Chiropractic (BChiro) is a five-year professional degree.

We accept applications all year around. If you choose to complete foundation courses with an alternate provider, you will need to make yourself familiar with and adhere to their application dates.

The College manages a competitive enrolment process. Applicants are expected to have performed well academically, and have a good understanding of chiropractic and how our guiding philosophy drives our vision of a world of people expressing optimal potential.

Application process

To be considered for an offer of enrolment, you will have successfully completed all parts of the application process.

The first step is to complete and return an application form along with all supporting documents.

"

The Admissions Team will then work with you to determine your foundation study pathway.

Foundation study pathways

NZCC Pathway

If you are eligible for direct entry to the College, your admissions process will commence.

Alternate Pathway

You will receive a letter of intent that formalises your interest in studying with the College and outlines your pathway. If you are completing your foundation study at AUT, you will be required to submit this letter as part of their application process. If applying to other approved providers you will need to meet their entry requirements.

"

To help us to get to know you better, you will be invited to an interview and asked to write an essay on your current understanding of chiropractic.

"

Once you have successfully met all the admission requirements you will be considered for enrolment. If you have completed your foundation studies via the alternate pathway you may be required to complete an online philosophy and technique course to prepare you for entry to the College.

Offer of enrolment

The College offers enrolment three times per year as follows for our annual intake in January.

Priority 1 Enrolment – Offered to approved applicants who have completed and met all admission requirements.
