The library subscribes to a variety of online databases, enabling students and staff access to a broad range of electronic learning support resources on a 24-7 basis. Most contain full text publications including journal articles, books, conference proceedings and may include images, video and audio material. Check in the catalogue as well for already downloaded documents.

    A customised Google search of websites relevant to chiropractic

  2. College only databases:

    To access these, you must be a student or staff member of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic or an approved user of the Library. A login and password is required in accordance with the conditions of License Agreements- if you don’t have a copy of these, please ask one of the Library staff.

    Provides the latest information and materials in the evolving practice of holistic medicine and therapies.

    CINAHL Complete
    Access to nursing and allied health journals, evidence-based care sheets and quick lessons.

    E-Books
    Textbooks and other non-fiction titles; also locate individual titles through the library catalogue.

    MANTIS (Manual, Alternative and Natural Therapy Index System)
    Chiropractic, osteopathy and Allied Health. Mostly abstracts, some full text.
    MANTIS thru ChiroAccess OR HealthIndex

    MedLine Complete
    The largest companion to the MEDLINE (PubMed) index and provides full text for over 2,400 medical journals. Many are available with no embargo to allow users to access the information as soon as it is published.  

    Natural and Alternative Treatments
    Focuses on alternative and holistic approaches to health care and wellness.  

    Rehabilitation Reference Centre
    Conditions, exercise images, patient education, exercise routine handouts (customisable) and more

    Sciencedirect
    Full text journals, including chiropractic and neuroscience. A green key or page identifies those we subscribe to, others are open access. For off-campus access, please ask us for the links.
