The Legacy of John Nolan, Chiropractor
Each year at graduation, the College awards a graduating student the John Nolan Diagnostic Imaging Award. It is awarded to the student who has demonstrated outstanding skills in x-ray and analysis. And like the awards namesake, the student must also show outstanding personal integrity and overall performance, including the willingness to help fellow students. Dr Kelly Holt, Dean of Research for the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and Senior Researcher for the Centre for Chiropractic Research has recently been appointed to the Accreditation Committee of the Council of Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA).
Research shows that neck dysfunction may affect sensorimotor function.
This newly published study explored differences in brain function between people who have neck dysfunction (subclinical neck pain) and people with healthy and well-functioning necks.
